Video: Coginchaug, Haddam Killingworth Cheerleaders Earn Top 10 Finishes

Coginchaug High School cheerleaders earned a 9th place finish at the recent high school cheerleading championships, held March 9-10 at the New Haven Athletic Center.

The Blue Devils squad finished with a combined score of 112.5 while Haddam Killingworth finished in 10th place with a score of 106.

20 cheerleading squads from Class S competed in event, with Oxford High School cheerleaders taking home the championship with a score of 164.5.

Earlier this month, Coginchaug earned a first place finish in the Non-Tumble division at the NECA Open Cheer Dance Championship held at East Haven High School.
