On Thursday night, the Coginchaug Little League 10-year-old all-star team will play Old Saybrook for the District 9 Championship. The game will be played in Durham under the lights.
The team has outscored its opponents 53-17 in five games to make it to the championship game.

On Monday, Coginchaug's 9/10 all-star softball team won the District 9 title by beating Madison 15-5.
The league's 12-year-old baseball team will play a three-game series against Haddam starting this Friday for the District 9 title.
