Catching for Three Generations

When it comes to baseball, the Genest family is most comfortable behind the plate.

Ryan Genest and his Coginchaug All-Star teammates will play for the 10/11 Division 9 Little League championship tonight against Guilford. The game starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Little League field in Durham.

The All-Star team is coached by Ryan's dad, Scott, and his grandfather, Curtis, will be watching from the crowd. All three Genest's have played catcher during their baseball careers.

Patch wishes the family and the entire Coginchaug team good luck in tonight's game! Beat Guilford!

I would suggest to parents to donate a book to the classroom or school library in their child's nameRead More to celebrate the child's birthday, or other significant event, instead of sending in cupcakes or other sweets.
