On Thursday, May 16, the Strong Middle School softball team traveled to Hebron to play the undefeated RHAM Middle School team.
Strong came into the game with a 1-7 record, while RHAM was 7-0.
The following is a parent recap of the game:
"Right from the beginning of the game the Strong team worked together to get the job done. The girls played to win and at the end of the game they landed a very well earned victory. The final score was 7-6, Strong. After the game was over Coach Cheney informed the girls they had just defeated the undefeated team. Monday will bring yet another opportunity for the girls to work together and attempt to bring in yet another win. The team will face Cromwell at home which is the JV field next to Korn school all are welcome to come and cheer the girls on. Congratulations to the girls."
