RSD 17 BOE To Meet Tuesday Night

Meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Haddam-Killingworth High School auditorium

 

The Board of Education will meet on Tuesday, June 5 at 7 p.m. in the  auditorium.

According to the BOE's agenda, the recognitions portion of the meeting will recognize:

  • HKHS top ten students of the Class of 2012
  • Haddam-Killingworth Middle School’s CT Association of Schools (CAS) Scholars
  • district retirees
  • district teachers of the year
  • district staff members of the year

Next up on the agenda is an approval of minutes, followed by reports from:

  • student representatives 
  • board committees
  • board liasons
  • superintendent

At the meeting, the BOE will cover capital projects under old business, followed by an anonymous $45 donation to the HKHS athletic programs, the agenda says.

In new business, the techology plan, the HKHS overnight football trip, and administrative appointments will be covered, according to the agenda.

The director of fiscal operations will cover the approval of the 2012-2013 assessment schedule to Haddam and Killingworth, the agenda says, before the meeting wraps up with a discussion of future meetings.
