HK Volleyball Wins Opener

Carlson, Tarbetsky lead Cougars to 3-0 victory over Warriors.

The Haddam-Killingworth High School volleyball team won their first match of the season on Tuesday by defeating Valley Regional 3-0.  Game scores were 25-19, 25-18 and 25-16.

Kristen Carlson had 11 assists and 9 service points. Ana Tarbetsky served 8 points, had 14 kills and 14 digs. Alyssa Payette had 6 digs.
Brianna Church added 5 kills, 15 digs and 5 aces. Emma Soneson served 5 points. CC Zygmont had 7 assists and 5 service points. Taylor Emerson served 11 points.

HK's next game is Thursday, Sept. 15 at 5:30 p.m. when the spikers visit Hale Ray.
