Fulton Joins Board of Education
Durham resident Bob Fulton will begin three year term with Region 17 BOE on July 1.
Bob Fulton, Durham’s newest member of the Regional School District 13 Board of Education, was sworn in by Town Clerk Kim Garvis on Friday, June 17. His three year term begins in July and will run through June 30, 2014.
Fulton was elected at the Durham Annual Budget Meeting on May 9, where he stressed the importance of openness and transparency in government operations and the need for the public to have timely access to the information they need to make informed judgments about the issues at hand.
Fulton is a Certified Public Accountant in public practice and recently concluded a three year term as Chairman of the Durham Ethics Commission.
