"The "Durham Destroyers" 8th Grade Girls Travel Basketball team, hosted a mini-jamboree at Mercy High School in Middletown Friday, Feb. 11. Five teams from Old Saybrook, Haddam-Killingworth, Cheshire, Durham and North Branford played each other in round-robin mini-games, with the best two teams matching up on full court at the end. The Destroyers won the event, dominating the evening with a clean sweep against tough competitors.
