Coginchaug's Ryan Excels On Mound, In Classroom
Report: Three-sport athlete is headed to Bentley Univ. in Fall.
Coginchaug Blue Devils pitcher Tommy Ryan, who plays soccer and basketball as well, also maintains a 3.92 grade point average, the Middletown Press reports.
"To see a kid come along like Tommy is unusual," baseball coach Ted Lombardo told the newspaper.
The Blue Devils are 4-12 this season and visit East Hampton High School today at 3:45 p.m.
