Photos: Seniors Win Coginchaug Powder Puff Game 32-12

Annual game raises money for senior class.

Last year's Coginchaug Powder Puff game ended in a scoreless tie, but things would be dramatically different this year.

On Wednesday, seniors captured bragging rights with a 32-12 win over juniors in the flag football contest.

Senior Lauren Esposito scored on the first play of the game, which was seen by a large crowd and raises money for the senior class to help pay for field trips, activities and the senior gift.

I would suggest to parents to donate a book to the classroom or school library in their child's nameRead More to celebrate the child's birthday, or other significant event, instead of sending in cupcakes or other sweets.
