Coginchaug Defense Stops Valley 48-28

The defending champion Blue Devils' are now 2-0 on the season following Saturday's win over the Warriors.

 

Coginchaug's defense held Valley Regional to just 14 points through three quarters on Saturday night, on way to a 48-28 win over the Warriors.

Morgan Kuehnle scored 14 points to lead the Blue Devils (2-0) and Kim Romanoff added 10 points.

Coginchaug outscored Valley 11-2 in the third quarter and finished the game 14-30 from the FT line.

The Blue Devils won their season opener 69-62 on Nov. 5 against Kolbe Cathedral. The team travels to Hyde Leadership on Nov. 11 and hosts Hale Ray on Nov. 14.
