BOE to Superintendent: "We Need More Cuts"

School administrators have reduced the 2012-2013 budget by more than $134,000 but board members are recommending that more cuts be made.

On Wednesday night, administrators announced that $134,082 had been cut from Superintendent Susan Viccaro's 2012-2013 school budget proposal in an effort to reduce the overall budget increase.

But the Board of Education has asked for further reductions to the $34.27 million (net) budget.
