A Random Act of Kindness at Coginchaug High School

On Valentine's Day, 600 origami flowers appeared on lockers throughout the high school. What remains a mystery is who put them there.

Random acts of kindness have been sweeping the nation and this week someone delivered on the idea at Coginchaug High School.

On Valentine's Day, origami tulips were taped to every locker at the high school prior to the start of the school day.

The random act of kindness touched teacher Kimberly Sterrett Ragnow so much, she shared the details with The Ellen DeGeneres Show's Facebook page:

"It is a close knit community and I feel lucky to teach there. I have always known this place was special, but upon entering the school this monring [sic], I had no idea how really special it really is! Taped to EVERY SINGLE locker, on both floors, was a hand made, beautifully orchestrated, paper tulip. Each and every flower is a work of art and the entire school was awash in these amazing things! And here's the catch: the person(s) who did this have remained a secret! The whole school is spellbound by it!! Even though I don't know who did this wonderful act of kindness, I wanted you to know about it and I want to acknowledge how much it touched every member if our high school community."
