Voter Turnout Low for Killingworth Budget Referendum

As of 3 p.m. Thursday, 350 residents had voted on the 2012-2013 budget.

 

Less than 10 percent of registered voters in Killingworth had voted on the town's 2012-2013 budget proposal by Thursday afternoon, according to poll officials.

The exact number as of 3 p.m. was 350 residents. That amounts to 8.2 percent of the 4,231 registered voters in town.
