Suzio Welcomes Residents to “Coffee With Len” Tuesday

Sen. Len Suzio seeks support for his proposal to cap the state's gas tax.

Sen. Len Suzio will host another “Coffee With Len” event at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday morning at Guida’s restaurant along Route 66 in Middlefield.

Suzio welcomes residents to chat about their thoughts and concerns with him, including his legislation to cap the state's gas tax.

“I urge area residents to stop by on Tuesday morning to say hello and to tell me their concerns,” Suzio said. “I hold these sessions to talk informally with taxpayers.  All issues are open for discussion. I am fighting for taxpayers up in Hartford, and I want to hear from them.”

During the meeting Suzio is scheduled to call into WCCC 106.9 FM to talk about why he believes the state needs to cap the gas tax. Thousands of taxpayers have already signed his petition in support of tax relief at the pumps. Those who cannot attend can sign Suzio’s petition at www.senatorsuzio.com.

Suzio represents Cheshire, Middlefield, Middletown, Meriden and Rockfall.

I would suggest to parents to donate a book to the classroom or school library in their child's nameRead More to celebrate the child's birthday, or other significant event, instead of sending in cupcakes or other sweets.
