Right? why aren't we manufacturing these things to be placed everywhere? If we invested in this it would change everything. I was standing outside the other night looking at the street lights and thinking. Wow I have been trained to turn off my light when I leave a room but in front of me was a empty street lined with high powered lights all night, every night. I assume local taxpayers pay that bill.

Solyndra- well over $500 million of taxpayers' money, because they couldn't make them cheaper than the Chinese.

Donald Trump declared bankruptcy, yet he is seen as rich and powerful, not to mention, smart. Does that mean you never go to see a Disney film? Walt Disney declared bankruptcy twice. Does that make him a failed business person who never created any jobs? How many airlines in the U.S. have declared bankruptcy- practically all. Would you never fly them? Abraham Lincoln, among several other presidents, declared bankruptcy. I think you'd agree that Henry Ford created a few automotive jobs after declaring bankruptcy.

How about in her last campaign instead of hiring Connecticut firms to handle her advertising or print all those signs she instead hired out of state firms. If she cares so much for the people of Connecticut why won’t she hire them?

Good point Jimbo! A lot of small printing companies in CT could use the business. As Mrshess points out lots of wealthy people have filed bankruptcy. What do they have in common? They all used bankruptcy rules to avoid debt, then went on to become super wealthy. So many followers think that wealth is a measure of ability and intelligence. Perhaps wealth, particularly mega-wealth, is more of a measure of how one is able to game the system in their own favor, no matter who gets hurt.
