Right to Farm Ordinance Headed to Town Meeting

Durham's Agriculture Commission has proposed an ordinance aimed at supporting the town's agricultural operations.

A proposed Right to Farm ordinance is headed for a town meeting in Durham next month.

The ordinance, first proposed by the town's Agriculture Commission last February, would formalize Durham's support of agriculture, according to commission members.

The ordinance will be discussed and voted on at a town meeting on Monday, January 14 at 8 p.m. at Town Hall.

I would suggest to parents to donate a book to the classroom or school library in their child's nameRead More to celebrate the child's birthday, or other significant event, instead of sending in cupcakes or other sweets.
