Middlefield selectman have agreed to sell Powder Ridge to Brownstone owner Sean Hayes for $700,000.
Selectman Dave Burgess voted against the sales agreement following an executive session with attorneys from both sides on Monday, but First Selectman Jon Brayshaw and selectman Ed Bailey favored the deal.
The sales agreement must be voted on by residents of the town. Copies of the sales agreement will be made available at town hall and a public hearing will be scheduled soon, according to Brayshaw.
