Durham Town Budget Would Increase by 14.75% Under BOF Proposal

The town's finance board will hold a public hearing on the $4,845,818 proposal next month.

 

Durham's Board of Finance is proposing a $4.84 million 2012-2013 town budget, an increase of 14.75 percent over current spending. 

The budget was released Friday, and will be presented to residents at the annual budget hearing on April 9. The hearing is scheduled for 9 p.m. at Coginchaug High School.

Under the proposal, the town portion of the mill rate would increase from the current 5.86 to 6.66.
