Here's what the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) and Cabela's would like to ask: "Wanna go fishing for millions?"
The outdoor equipment retailer and DEEP are sponsoring a fishing contest, beginning Saturday and running through July 8, DEEP announced.
According to the press release, forty fish, including largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, walleye, and trout, have been tagged in Connecticut. Those who catch the fish win prizes, with the grand prize being $2 million.
Anglers must register before heading out to fish, DEEP says, adding that both online and in-store registration is available.
The tagged fish will be located in six Connecticut water bodies, which will be announced on Cabela's website on Saturday, May 5.
