Brayshaw, Bailey Lead Republican Ticket in Middlefield

Incumbents, newcomers join November 5 slate.

Middlefield First Selectman Jon Brayshaw will seek a fifth term as the town's top official.

Brayshaw heads a slate of Republican candidates endorsed by the party last month to run in this year's municipal election on Nov. 5. Joining Brayshaw on the ticket are Edward Bailey, who will seek re-election to the board of selectmen, as well as Kathleen Kokoszka who is running for town clerk.

Republicans have entered three candidates for the finance board, including incumbent Robert Yamartino, former selectman David Lowry and Joel Nick.

Mary Ann Zieminski will run for town treasurer while Nancy Currlin looks to join the board of assessment appeals.
