$550 Million Powerball Drawing is Tonight

Connecticut is one of 42 states that offer the lottery game; find local retailers and tips on how to play here.

The historic Powerball jackpot rose to a record $550 million on Tuesday and many residents are expected to purchase a ticket Wednesday — if they haven't already.

According to the official Powerball website, the drawing will be held tonight at 10:59 p.m. In Connecticut, the drawing will be televised live on WTIC-TV/FOX 61.

There has been no Powerball winner since Oct. 6. The chance of winning the $550 million jackpot is 1 in 175,223,510.

Good luck (you'll need it)!

I would suggest to parents to donate a book to the classroom or school library in their child's nameRead More to celebrate the child's birthday, or other significant event, instead of sending in cupcakes or other sweets.
