Woman Stole Prescription Drugs, Police Say

Report: Suspect took drugs while working in Durham home last week.

 

Monday, Dec. 19

Amanda Nicole Linsky, 18, of North Haven, was arrested and charged with three counts each of sixth degree larceny, credit card theft, illegal use of a credit card, criminal impersonation and 12 counts of attempt to commit a crime. According to a report, Linski turned herself in on an arrest warrant for allegedly stealing a Durham woman's credit card in October.

Wednesday, Dec. 21

At approximately 1:51 p.m., police responded to a hit and run accident along Route 17 in Durham. According to a report, a vehicle traveling northbound was struck in the rear while attempting to make a lefthand turn into the Valero Gas Station at 389 Main Street. The driver of the second vehicle did not stop and continued northbound towards Middletown, according to police. The passenger in the first vehicle was able to write down the license plate number of the vehicle, which is owned by Bartholomew Mansi, 23, of Guilford, the report says. The case was referred to Guilford Police for further investigation. No injuries were reported.

Thursday, Dec. 22

Yaliska Torres, 25, of Meriden, was arrested and charged with sixth degree larceny and possession of a controlled substance. According to a report, Yaliska took prescription pills belonging to a woman while working in the victim's residence on Cesca Lane in Durham.
