A Connecticut State Police K-9 demonstration was just one of a handful of activities at Saturday's Community Safety Day in Middlefield.
The event was organized by the Middlefield Resident State Trooper's and attended by local police, fire and ambulance officials, as well as other safety and prevention organizations.
In the video, a K-9 demonstrates how to open the door of a state police cruise without help from his human handler.
