Troop F Blotter — Arrests Ending Dec. 29

Recent arrests from around the region, including Durham and Middlefield.

The following information came from the State Police Troop F barracks in Westbrook. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Haddam


Dec. 26

State police are investigating a report of paintballs being shot at a home on Candlewood Hill Road in Haddam on Dec. 26. Around 8:45 p.m., police responded to the home after a resident said the front exterior of the home was shot at. There was no damage int he incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact Trooper Enrico Milardo at 860-399-2100.

Dec. 27

Someone broke into the Citgo gas station at 1618 Saybrook Road in Haddam on Dec. 27 at 2:57 a.m. According to  police, the suspect threw a cinder block through the front glass door and stole an unknown quantity of cartons of cigarettes. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Troop F barracks in Westbrook at 860-399-2100.

Old Lyme

Dec. 29

Ryan T. Conroy, 38, 15 Magnolia Drive, Madison, was charged with operating under the influence, a failure to drive right and a failure to wear a safety belt after police pulled him over at the intersection between Shore and McCurdy roads in Old Lyme on Dec. 29. Conroy was held on a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court on Jan. 8.

East Lyme

Dec. 27

Damin M. Roberts, 33, 500 Washington St., Middletown, was charged with possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia after police pulled him over on I-95 near Exit 74 in East Lyme. Police said Roberts was in possession of several bags of heroin in a cooler. Roberts was held on a $1,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court on Jan. 16.

Waterford

Dec. 28

Police are said a car was struck while parked in the lot at the Marquee Cinema on Flat Rock Place in Westbrook. Any witnesses are asked to contact Troop F at 860-399-2100.

Chester

Dec. 29

Dennis David Dean, 43, 41 Silver Drive, Apt. 4, Middletown, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, disorderly conduct and threatening after police responded to a report of a disturbance at 4 Butter Jones Road in Chester on Dec. 29. The accused had left the home prior to the police arriving. There were no injuries. Dean was held on a $1,000 surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Middlesex Superior Court on Dec. 30.
