Three More Residential Burglaries Under Investigation by State Police

Police were called to three separate homes in Durham and Middlefield on Wednesday to investigate break-ins.

State police are investigating three more burglaries in Durham and Middlefield.

According to police reports, on Feb. 6, police responded to three separate homes within a two-hour span after receiving calls that each home had been burglarized.

Police are not releasing much detail but the break-ins come as authorities investigate a rash of burglaries in the area over the past several months.

At 6 p.m. on Wednesday, police were called to a home on Mack Road in Middlefield, a report says. No other details were provided.

30 minutes later, police responded to a home on Arbutus Street in Durham where a homeowner reported that a burglary had taken place sometime between Jan. 26 and Feb. 6. It's unclear what was taken from the home.

At approximately 7:43 p.m., police were called to a home on Maiden Lane for a burglary but no additional details were given.

Police arrested two men and a woman this week reportedly linked to burglaries in the area, although an investigation into the rash of recent break-ins remains ongoing, according to police.

I would suggest to parents to donate a book to the classroom or school library in their child's nameRead More to celebrate the child's birthday, or other significant event, instead of sending in cupcakes or other sweets.
