A Durham teenager was uninjured in a one-car crash Friday morning.
According to a state police report, the 16-year-old driver was traveling south on Brick Lane around 7 a.m. when she lost control of her car and hit a utility pole.
The vehicle went down an embankment, hit a metal guardrail and rolled over onto its passenger side near a small stream, the report says.
The teen told police she was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was not injured. The report says the driver was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital by ambulance, possibly as a precaution.
The teen was issued a verbal warning for failure to drive in the established lane although no cause for the accident was given.
