Police: Veterinary Hospital Targeted by Vandals

State police say a BB gun or slingshot was used to break glass at Durham Veterinary Hospital on Parmelee Hill Road earlier this month.

 

State police are investigating an incident at Durham Veterinary Hospital earlier this month.

Around 8:15 p.m. on Oct. 3, police were called to the business at 178 Parmelee Hill Road where they discovered the a front door to the business had been broken by a pellet gun or slingshot type of instrument.

No one was hurt.

Police investigated similar incidents on Haddam Quarter Road in Durham last month, one involving a home and another involving a vehicle. It's not clear if the cases are related.
