Police: Man Caught on Camera Vandalizing Lyman Orchards Golf Club

Police: Suspect discharged fire extinguishers and broke soda cooler.

Monday, Sept. 5

Police are looking for a suspect wanted in the vandalism of Lyman Orchards Golf Club, 70 Lyman Road, Middlefield. According to police, surveillance cameras captured a white male entering an event tent at the location in the early morning hours. Once inside, the suspect removed two fire extinguishers and discharged them in the parking lot, in front of the Pro Shop and in the area of the golf carts. Police have not recovered the fire extinguishers. The suspect also smashed the glass front of a Coca-Cola cooler police say.

Police are investigating a burglary at 41 Middlefield Road in Durham. According to police the burglary occurred when the resident was not home and there was no signs of forced entry. The items stolen include a digital video camera, laptop computer and a Blu-ray DVD player.

Linda Prunier, 56, of Middletown, was arrested and charged with DWI at a Sobriety Checkpoint in Durham. According to police, Prunier was stopped for speeding and the subsequent investigation revealed that she was operating under the influence.
