Police Looking for SUV Involved in Durham Hit-and-Run

The vehicle struck a parked car on Birch Mill Road and fled the scene late last week, state police said.

State police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a vehicle that struck a parked car on May 3 and fled the scene.  

According to a state police news release, an unknown vehicle — possibly a dark colored SUV — was going northbound on Birch Mill Road in Durham when it struck a 2007 Subaru Legacy owned by Middletown resident Paula Murphy.  

The collision left the Subaru with minor damage to the front end.  

According to police, the SUV may be a Chevrolet Yukon with damage to the front end, a deployed airbag and white paint left from the collissionw ith the Subaru.
