Jewelry stolen in latest home break-in on Strickland Road.

State police are investigating another home burglary on Strickland Road in Middlefield, the second in less than a week.

Police were called to 34 Strickland Rd. on April 2 after the homeowners had discovered that a basement window had been smashed open. Once inside the home the burglar stole jewelry, according to police.

The burglary took place sometime between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m., when the homeowners were away.

Police are at 126 Strickland Road on March 30.

A burglar stole a MacBook laptop computer, along with $150 in cash and three rings during daylight hours, according to police. Police say the thief gained entry to the home through an unlocked garage door.

Police have not made any arrests.

I would suggest to parents to donate a book to the classroom or school library in their child's nameRead More to celebrate the child's birthday, or other significant event, instead of sending in cupcakes or other sweets.
