Home on Old Deep River Turnpike targeted in latest theft.

State police are investigating a daytime burglary in Killingworth, although it remains unclear if the burglary is connected to a series of break-ins over the summer.

Police were called to a home on Old Deep River Turnpike -- less than a mile from the Route 80/81 traffic circle -- on Monday, Sept. 26.

According to the homeowner, numerous items were taken, including electronics and jewelry, between 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
