The following information was provided by Connecticut State Police and local police departments.

Saturday, Oct. 27

Thomas A. Cove, 22, of Old Farms Road, Durham, was arrested by North Branford and charged with failure to keep drugs in original container, use and possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of narcotics and possession of a controlled substance.

According to court records, Cove was ticketed last month by North Branford Police for operating an unregistered vehicle.

In May, Cove was arrested by Middletown Police and charged with evading responsibility involving damage to property for an incident in April.

Friday, Nov. 2

A school bus owned by New Britain Transportation was traveling along Baileyville Road near Way Road in Middlefield when the bus left the roadway and struck a metal sign near Rover's Lodge. The bus was not occupied with children at the time of the accident, a report says. The operator told police the bus had been pulling to the side and indicated that the issue had been documented on a vehicle inspection report. The driver does not face any charges and was not hurt.

Saturday, Nov. 3

Brian Badamo, 38, of 148 Bluff View Drive, Guilford, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. According to a report, Badamo was traveling on Race Track Hollow in Middlefield when he lost control of his 2009 Lincoln MKS and struck a rock located on the property of 35 Race Track Hollow.

Badamo, according to State Police, exhibited signs of being under the influence of alcohol and failed standard field sobriety tests.

Badamo was arrested in September by Guilford Police for third degree assault and disorderly conduct. He was arrested again last month for violation of a protective order and disorderly conduct.
