Police Blotter: Nov. 2 - 16

The following information was provided by Connecticut State Police and local police departments. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Friday, Nov. 2

Robert J. Bowker, 58, of 433 Ridgewood Street, Middletown was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, driving under suspension and failure to grant the right of way. According to a police report, Bowker pulled out from a driveway along Route 66 in Middlefield and struck a vehicle traveling westbound. along the highway. No injuries were reported.

Friday, Nov. 16

State Police are investigating a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the parking lot at Brewster Elementary School on Tuttle Road. According to a report, a driver involved in the accident evaded the scene before police arrived shortly before 4 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 18

State Police responded to a home on Burt Drive in Middletown where the complainant reported losing a front license plate.
