Police Blotter: December 10-17

The following arrest information was supplied by local and state police departments. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

Monday, Dec. 10

Louis Wagner, 38, of 1656 State Street, Hamden, was charged with operating a motor vehicle without insurance and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. According to a report, Wagner was involved in a three-vehicle crash along Route 68 in Durham. During their investigation of the accident, State Police determined that Wagner was uninsured and driving an unregistered vehicle. Stacey Abely, 41, of Durham, was at fault for the accident and cited for driving too close, according to police. Abely and a passenger were transported to Middlesex Hospital with minor injuries. A third driver was taken to Hartford Hospital with minor injuries, according to police.

Friday, Dec. 14

Robert J. Weed, 48, of 901 Route 148 Killingworth, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, operation of a motor vehicle without insurance, operation of a motor vehicle without a license and operation of an unregistered motor vehicle. According to police, Weed was pulled over on Cherry Hill Road in Middlefield at approximately 9:20 p.m. He was processed at the Middletown Police Department and released on a $500 bond. He's scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 26.

Sunday, Dec. 16

Michael Deproto, 52, of 28 Portland Street, Middletown, was arrested and charged with third degree assault and disorderly conduct. According to a report, State Police responded to a call of a domestic dispute at 149 Old Farms Road in Durham at approximately 8:01 p.m. Police determined that a female victim suffered a minor hand injury after being shoved by Deproto. Deproto was taken into custody at his residence in Middletown, according to the report. His bond was set at $500.
