Police Blotter: August 20-28

State police are investigating an incident on Mauro Drive in Durham earlier this week.

 

Tuesday, August 21

Chelsea Edgell, 23, of Ridge Road, Middletown, was arrested and charged with two counts of sixth-degree larceny. Meriden police discovered Edgell was wanted on an outstanding warrant while investigating a car accident she was involved in along Route 66 in Middlefield.

Tuesday, August 28

Shortly after midnight, state police were dispatched to the report of criminal mischief to a vehicle parked on Mauro Drive in Durham. No other details were provided. The incident is currently under investigation.

Note: At the Aug. 27 Durham Board of Selectmen meeting, First Selectmam Laura Francis said she had requested addtional traffic enforcement on Maiden Lane in the leadup to school starting.

The town has also requested additional patrols in the area of Stage Coach Road after receiving reports of dirtbikes and ATVs.
