Police: 12 Tips to Prevent Home Burglary

Most important: never intervene yourself, contact the police.

Keeping your home safe and secure is always a concern. Particularly now, with reports that residential burglaries are on the rise throughout the country.

To help homeowners, one local Connecticut police department recently compiled a list of 12 tips to help prevent against theft and break-ins. 

“By following these simple tips, we can all help to prevent home burglaries and keep everyone safe,” the Naugatuck Police stated on its website.
