Three bottles of prescription drugs were taken from a Middlefield home during a burglary last week, police say.
Police are investigating the break-in at 177 Hubbard Street which occurred sometime on May 13 or in the early morning hours of May 14.
Police were called to the home around 8:45 a.m. and were told that someone had gained entry into the home through a kitchen window left open the previous day while the home was being cleaned.
Along with three bottles of prescription Morphine in various dosages, $60 in cash and a Samsung DVD/VCR player was stolen, according to police.
The home was unoccupied at the time of the burglary.
No physical evidence was left at the scene and police say a neighborhood canvass was unsuccessful in turning up any leads.
