A Middlefield man has been found dead at a Haddam home where he had been working as a carpenter, state police said Friday night.
The man's identity has not been released pending the notification of his family.
According to Sgt. Sal Calvo, the victim was found at the bottom of a ladder by a friend who went to the home to check on the man Friday evening. He was last seen around 4:30 p.m. Friday, Calvo said.
The medical examiner has been notified and will determine a cause of death, Calvo said.
