Meet Middlesex County's Newest State Police Troopers

The new officers have been assigned to the Troop F Barracks in Westbrook, which oversees several area towns including Durham and Middlefield.

Seven new Connecticut State Police troopers have joined the ranks at the Troop F barracks in Westbrook.

The troopers, who are field training officers and undergoing a year of probation on the job, all graduated on Jan. 9 from the Connecticut State Police Academy as part of the 123rd training troop. Troop F responds to police incidents throughout Middlesex County, including Durham and Middlefield.

The new troopers began work on Monday, Jan. 13, said Sgt. Salvatore Calvo, of the Troop F barracks. 

Calvo shared the attached photos with Patch. Here are the names of each trooper in the photos, with the new members being in the second and third rows.

O'Brien is from Killingworth, Eckman is from Meriden, Spielman is from Guilford, Gorra is from New London, Haroian is from New Britain, Kendrick is from Old Saybrook and Cintron is from Middletown.
