Update: Guilford Shooting Suspect Apprehended

The suspect in the shooting of a vehicle at a local gas station on Monday evening in Guilford has been located

Less than an hour ago, Chief of Police Thomas Terribile of the Guilford Police Department, notified Guilford Patch that they have located the suspect involved in the Monday night shooting of a vehicle at a gas station near the intersection of Goose Lane and Route 1. Chief Terribile stated:

"We have located the suspect and the vehicle is in custody. No one was injured during the incident. The incident is still under investigation and arrest warrants will be submitted to the prosecutors office."

Deputy Chief of Police Jeffrey Hutchinson also added that the suspect is cooperating.

An official incident report has not been released by the department yet.

Guilford police are searching for the suspect in the shooting of a vehicle at a local gas station on Monday evening.

The incident happened in Guilford shortly after 5 p.m. on Monday at a gas station near the intersection of Goose Lane and Route 1. A gun was discharged, police said, and a bullet struck another car.

The suspect is a white male approximately 40-45 years old, between 5'8"-6'0" tall, medium length brown hair, clean shaven.  The suspect was seen wearing a blue shirt with a yellow tie, and light colored khaki pants.  

The male was operating a newer model Dodge Ram Truck, color red, 4 door crew-cab, with black mag wheels.

Police report there was no one injured in the incident.
