Update: Durham-Middlefield Police Blotter: April 18-May 10

The following arrest information was supplied by local and state police departments. It does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, April 18

Police are investigating a hit and run accident at 32 Cherry Lane in Durham. According to a report, a vehicle struck an object in the front yard of the property and fled the scene at approximately 9:28 p.m. The vehicle, possibly an older (1996-98) Nissan Pathfinder with a missing left front mud guard may also have front end damage as a result of the accident, the report says. Call State Police at 860-349-2100 if you have information. 

Tuesday, April 23

Police are investigating a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Route 68 and Maple Avenue in Durham. The accident happened at approximately 5:52 p.m. There were no injuries.

Thursday, May 2

An arrest warrant was issued for Clinton Stewart, 32, of 82 Banta Lane in Durham for failure to appear. Stewart was arrested last November by Branford Police and charged with operating a motor vehicle under suspension and failure to obey a stop sign, according to court records.

Friday, May 10

At approximately 1:18 a.m., police were called to investigate a domestic disturbance at 97 South End Avenue in Durham. The case remains under investigation
