We all know that the weather can be a real Fair buster. But, there's one event that will be not-to-miss, rain or shine. If you live in Durham you simply have to get to the Discovery Tent and get yourself educated on the "Solarize Durham" program. Thursday, not Friday thru Sunday, but Thursday, when most of the people on the grounds are townies anyway, people with answers will be there with demos and FAQs (and they've promised to have some fun solar demonstrations too). This program is very exciting. It puts solar financially in reach of many, many more people - but you need to check it out, make arrangements to have the contractor visit your home and do it! You know what they say about opportunity, well it is knocking now, but it's knocking on a tent flap, which doesn't make much noise. Yes, I know you're all busy - we're all busy. When something is really important though, you either find the time or you miss it.
Marilyn, Very well written. "Yes, I know you're all busy - we're all busy. When something is really important though, you either find the time or you miss it" "well it is knocking now, but it's knocking on a tent flap, which doesn't make much noise" I enjoyed your choice of words.
