Snow Dog!

It's a dog's life!

Only my lab mix Mora (Blackberry, in Spanish) could get me out for a walk or hike twice per day--even in below freezing temperatures! She was 10 months old in August when I adopted her from a rescue organization in Mississippi. Now, over four months later, she is very much at home in Durham. She has brought so much laughter into our lives and given me a new "job" as a dog trainer. I'm pleased and proud that she just passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen test last week, thanks to the excellent guidance of our teacher, Michelle Larson. If you are looking for the perfect pet, please check out the many rescue organizations out there. You are certain to find the perfect match for you and your family and will have a forever friend. And, you can see from the photos that she prefers CT over Mississippi!!

I would suggest to parents to donate a book to the classroom or school library in their child's nameRead More to celebrate the child's birthday, or other significant event, instead of sending in cupcakes or other sweets.
