D'Angelo Offers Invaluable Expertise and Perspective

   Joel D'Angelo brings a remarkable array of talents and experiences to voters' attention in the campaign for the Regional #17 Board of Education.  He has an extensive classroom and administrative resume that makes him an invaluable resource when secondary education issues are examined.  His impeccable academic preparation speaks to his commitment to education.  His longterm employment at one of the state's premier college preparatory schools demonstates his ability to "walk the walk".

   As a recently retired classroom teacher, I can attest to the need for reasoned, responsible, and knowledgable voices when educational reform is the major agenda item.  Governor Malloy has pledged that the General Assembly session to begin this winter will be devoted to this issue.  The debate, the potential recommendations, and the implementation of new policies will be resoundingly felt by our local boards of education.  Not all decisions will be made by individuals with real, recent interactions with school children.  Mr. D'Angelo will provide a clear and concise voice promoting the best choices for Killingworth's children.
