A happy homecoming welcomed Coginchaug's girls basketball state champions this afternoon. In an impromptu parade down Main Street, the girls were escorted back to the high school by Durham's and Middlefield's finest. Local fans that were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the champs gave a cheer or a honk along the route.
