The long Fourth of July holiday weekend kicks off Thursday. Here are some of the openings and closings you should know about. If you're a business owner and plan to be open over the holiday, let us know!
Closed
- Town offices
- United States Post Offices (no home delivery)
- Durham-Middlefield Transfer Station (Will re-open on Saturday, July 6)
- Middlefield Building and Land Use Office will be closed on Thursday and Friday
- The Durham Farmers' Market will be held from 3-6 p.m.
- Beaches
- Most Liquor Stores, supermarkets
- State and Municipal Parks
