Middletown Garden Club Flower Show

The Middletown Garden Club presents A Fine Prospect, a flower show at the Wadsworth Mansion on Wednesday, October 30th. The show features floral arrangements that salute the Mansion's architecture and landscape and also interpret the elegant lifestyle of the owners, Colonel and Mrs. Clarence Wadsworth.  The show includes horticultural displays of flowers and plants grown by exhibitors; i addition, a conservation display highlights the work of the club and community leaders that resulted in the restoration of the mansion.
Admission is free.
Built in 1912, the Mansion hosted a party of 1000 guests for the wedding reception of the Wadsworth's son in 1924. Now meticulously restored, the mansion is the site of weddings, concerts, parties, corporate and charity events.
