event to take place April 26th
in Middletown

MIDDLETOWN
— MARC: Community Resources presents Red,
White & Blush: A Wine Tasting Event
on Saturday, April 26TH
from 6-9 PM at Beckham Hall, Wesleyan University’s premier event space. Tickets
are $30/person.



 



Forest
City Wine & Spirits in Middletown has arranged for more than 15
Connecticut-based distributors to provide tastings of more than 70 wines, beers
and spirits. I.D. is required.  All wine, beer and spirit selections will be
available to order at the event, with proceeds donated to MARC: Community
Resources.



 



Bon Appetit will provide a light fare, including
servers circulating the room with hot hors d’oeuvres. The event is sponsored by Champagne
Sponsor A.R. Mazzotta Employment Specialists and Red Sponsors Greenwald
Industries and Liberty Bank. Parking is free. For event and parking information

Guests
can enter a drawing for an iPad mini, urBeats earbud headphones, a 7” tablet,
and a case of the event’s most popular wines.   The silent auction will include items such
as: UCONN tickets, CT Whale tickets, beer tasting for 8 at Thomas Hooker
Brewing Co., and lunch for two and the opportunity to attend a taping of Better Connecticut with Channel 3’s Scot
Haney.



 



“More than
500 people attended our wine tasting last year, making this one of Middletown’s
largest social events,” said Liz Warner, President/CEO. “Tickets sold out in
the weeks prior to the event and I was sorry to turn people away so many
people.  I’m telling everyone - get your
tickets soon.  I don’t want you to miss
this great event!  Guests will enjoy a
fun night out while sampling a great selection of wines, beer and spirits – all
at an unbeatable price of only $30.”
