In 1964 a child's chance of surviving Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL), the most common form of childhoold leukemia, was 3%. Today about 90% of children survive. Unfortunetly there is still some process to be made and this past December five year old Brenna, lost her battle to ALL. Brenna is local from our neighborhood, a Durham resident. After a strong and determined fight from a bueatiful girl it is our duty to ensure she has a ever lasting legacy. Please join us as we rally in Brenna's honor!
The Leukemia and Lymphona Society has been given the amazing opportunity to raise $100,000 by June 14, 2013 to link Brenna's name to an LLS-funded researcher to honor her legacy and help others with blood cancers.
Anyone can particpate in a Team In Training event and there is a program to meet everyone's needs. No matter your phsyical ability Team In Training can get you to the finish line. Please join us for an informal informational meeting at LLS Meriden anytime between 4pm and 8pm.
